It's a BOY!!!

We had our first ultrasound today, and it's a boy! We could tell right away, but neither one of us said anything until the Dr. confirmed it. All this time we thought he was a she! We have to start over with names now, but we are very excited! The ultrasound was really incredible. We got to see his little nose and lips, his spine, all 4 chambers of his heart beating, and even the bones in his legs and arms. It was very emotional for both of us. We feel so blessed, and I can't wait to meet him!

Baby's 1st Rock Concert!

Saturday, we went to see my all-time favorite rock band, Metallica, in Dallas. Wow, I had really forgotten how loud the music was, and that you can feel it in your bones! I hope the baby enjoyed it, it was really amazing. We haven't seen them since we got engaged at the September 2004 show in Austin. What a great time! They have a new album coming out in a couple of weeks, so we got to hear a couple of new songs. They put on a hell of a show for 2 hours, well worth the drive.
